L'Ombrière is the arts and conference centre of the Pays d'Uzès. Concerts, theatre, stand-up, dance, festivals: the local council announces twenty to thirty dates a year there. Here are the autumn 2026 highlights and our tips for staying nearby after the show.
The venues
La Fabrique, the main hall, holds 350 to 500 people seated or 800 standing. Le Labo takes 200 seated or 350 standing. Combined, the two halls reach 800 seats or 1,200 standing. An outdoor space, Les Beaux Jours, extends the venue into the park.
Autumn 2026 at L'Ombrière
A selection of the dates published on the official programme as of 29 October 2026:
- 1 November, 2:30 pm: dance, Battle Kids Crew vs Crew, during the All Saints' school holidays.
- 14 November, 8:30 pm: opening of the Nuits Musicales season, with the Janoska Ensemble in "De Bach à Queen".
- 20 November, 7:30 pm: musical discoveries evening with K-BAÏ.
- 25 November, 4:30 pm: dance and theatre for young audiences, "Valse avec Wrondistilblegretralborilatausgavesosnoselchessou…".
- 27 November, 8 pm: Laurent Wolf in an electro concert.
- 29 November, 5 pm: Haroun, "Bonjour quand même".
- 5 December, 5 pm: "Le Petit Prince" in sand drawing, for the whole family.
- 13 December, 5 pm: "Curiosité", circus and dance.
- 18 December, 8:30 pm: Nuits Musicales, the Choir and Orchestra of the Opéra Royal in "Splendeurs baroques" (Handel, Vivaldi).
In January 2027: on the 10th, theatre with "Simone Veil, les combats d'une effrontée"; from the 15th to the 17th, the Fête de la truffe (truffle festival); on the 24th, the Nuits Musicales with "Les Choristes, 20 ans déjà !"; on the 31st, "Le Schpountz" at the theatre. Staying in Uzès after the show
After a concert that finishes late, staying the night in Uzès saves you the drive in the dark. Our apartments in the historic centre are about ten minutes' walk from L'Ombrière:
- the Maison Belon, for a group of friends of up to ten;
- Les Tomettes or Le Saint Julien, for two.
The next morning, the market on the place aux Herbes is within walking distance.
