Bagnols-sur-Cèze

A base for assignments

Bagnols-sur-Cèze is the closest town to the Marcoule site and the companies around it. Those who come for a week, a month or a season look for the same thing: a place in the centre, a kitchen, a table to work at, an invoice in the company's name. Le Patio de la Cèze, in the old town, was fitted out for that: two bedrooms, air conditioning, Ethernet, washing machine.

A town lived on foot

The old town fits in a square of streets around Place Mallet: shops, cafés, the Wednesday market. The Cèze flows at the edge of town; its banks can be walked or cycled. The supermarket is six minutes away, the bus station eight.

The weekend

To the north, the Cèze valley: the Sautadet waterfalls, La Roque-sur-Cèze, Goudargues. To the south, the Tavel and Lirac vineyards, then Villeneuve-lès-Avignon and Avignon forty minutes away. Nîmes and Uzès are thirty-five minutes away. More in the journal.
