Pool and garden of Villa Romana, south of Nîmes
Towns

Nîmes

Nîmes, the Roman city

Arena, Maison Carrée, Jardins de la Fontaine, and a villa with a pool for tribes.

Nîmes as a family or a team

Nîmes is explored on foot in the old town: the arena, the Maison Carrée, the Musée de la Romanité and Les Halles fit within a kilometre. What the city does not offer in its centre is space for twelve people with a pool. That is the role of Villa Romana, south of the city: four bedrooms, two bathrooms, an enclosed garden and a covered terrace, a quarter of an hour from the arena.

In summer the villa hosts extended families and groups of friends; off season it rents by the month to teams on assignment or on site in and around Nîmes, with parking for vans and a large table to work at.

Exploring from Nîmes

The Pont du Gard is thirty minutes away, Uzès forty, the Camargue and the beaches of Le Grau-du-Roi forty-five. Nîmes Pont-du-Gard TGV station is twenty minutes from the villa, with car rental on site.

When to come

May to September for the pool; May and September for the ferias; winter for monthly rates and crowd-free visits.
