Housing a construction crew in Uzès, Nîmes or near the Pont du Gard

Construction firms: four houses for 6 to 12 people near your sites, one bed each, washing machine, company invoice, and the 2026 French long-distance allowance.

A three-week job in Uzès, a renovation lasting several months in Nîmes, a structural works package near the Pont du Gard: once the crew is more than three people, a hotel quickly gets complicated. Rooms scattered along corridors, restaurant dinners every night, laundry piling up until Friday. A whole house solves most of these issues.

What a crew needs from its accommodation

For site managers, the list is almost always the same:

  • one bed per person, not a sofa shared between two;
  • an equipped kitchen to cook dinner and prepare the next day's lunchbox;
  • a washing machine, so nobody goes home on Friday with a week of work clothes;
  • self check-in, on Sunday evening or Monday morning, with no appointment for the keys;
  • check-out on Friday;
  • room to park the vehicles;
  • an invoice in the company's name.

Four houses, for 6 to 12 people

L'Oustal Di Fabre, in Vers-Pont-du-Gard. A stone farmhouse with four bedrooms, seven beds, up to eleven people, and two bathrooms. Equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, a workspace and a large living room to gather in the evening. Parking is free on site, and the village and its bakery are within walking distance. It is the best-placed house for sites between Uzès, Remoulins and the Pont du Gard.

Villa Romana, south of Nîmes. A single-storey villa, four bedrooms, seven beds, up to twelve people, two bathrooms. The kitchen is sized for twelve, with dishwasher and washing machine. Parking is inside the gated property, with room for several vehicles. In winter, it rents by the month.

Maison Belon, in the centre of Uzès. A small building rented as a whole: four independent apartments (one one-bedroom and three studios), each with its own kitchen and shower room, six beds for ten people at most. Everyone keeps their privacy, which matters on a job lasting several weeks. Mind the vans: there is no reserved parking, and the paid car parks are a few minutes' walk away.

La Jungle d'Uzès, 500 metres from the place aux Herbes. A two-bedroom apartment for a small crew: a 160 cm bed, two single beds and a sofa bed, so four separate sleeping places, up to six people if some share. Washing machine, dishwasher, free parking in the residence. There is no lift and no air conditioning: at the height of summer, choose another address.

In all four houses, check-in is self-service: the code is sent to the team leader on the day of arrival, and linen is provided. The minimum stay depends on the period; it is shown in the calendar on each property page.

The 2026 long-distance allowance (grand déplacement)

When an employee cannot go home each evening, the employer covers their accommodation, often in the form of a flat-rate allowance. For 2026, in mainland France outside Paris and its inner suburbs, URSSAF sets the following amounts per night for accommodation and breakfast:

  • €56.80 for the first three months;
  • €48.30 from the 4th to the 24th month;
  • €39.80 from the 25th to the 72nd month.

This allowance is an exemption ceiling for social security contributions, not a rate: it does not say what accommodation should cost, only how far the allowance escapes contributions. The company can also reimburse actual costs against receipts. The applicable rule depends on your collective agreement and your travel policy: your payroll department will confirm it.

The maths per person

A house is rented as a whole, not per person. Divide the nightly price by the number of beds in use, add cleaning and tourist tax spread over the nights, and compare with the allowance. Over several nights, out of season and with a well-filled house, the cost per person often comes in under that €56.80. That leaves breakfast, which the crew makes in the kitchen.

Prices vary with the season and the length of stay, so we do not fix them here. The business page shows the price per person taken live from our calendar, property by property, next to the allowance.

Invoice and Pass Mission

On request, the invoice is issued in the company's name at the end of each stay, with a certificate of stay. The Pass Mission opens free of charge with the first direct booking: 10 % off the nights, then tiers based on the nights accumulated by the company over twelve months, all crews combined. The business code is shared privately when the account is validated. For a job that starts at short notice, also check the Free this weekend page.

Frequently asked questions

Is the long-distance allowance an accommodation rate?

No. It is the ceiling up to which the accommodation allowance paid to the employee is exempt from social security contributions. The company can also reimburse actual costs against receipts: check which rule it applies.

Can everyone have their own bed?

Yes, within the number of beds shown on each property page: seven at L'Oustal Di Fabre and Villa Romana, six at Maison Belon, four at La Jungle d'Uzès, sofa bed included.

Can the invoice be in the company's name?

Yes. On request, we issue the invoice for each stay in the company's name at check-out, with a certificate of stay.
